I think the only wedding I am truly going to enjoy is my own.
So I went to 2 weddings in 2 days. Thank god the first one was held at night so I would not have to face the scorching sun. The first wedding was held just a couple of doors down the road. I don't know those people but I guess it was cool to go there. I met Ana who lives a block from my house. She's fun and we totally have the same brain when it comes to patience and boys.
The bride was a nyonya. She looked pretty. Plus the color theme of the wedding was beautiful and in my 17 years of my life, this is the first time I have seen this color being used for a wedding. The color was this pretty shade of baby blue. Usually the normal weddings that I attend, the colors tend to me more to the earth tones like yellow, brown, maroon or the most popular, gold.
Mix those hot colors with the humid weather of Malaysia and you got yourself a sweaty wedding. The blue wedding was just the akad nikah. Ana told me that their reception would be at a grand hotel. Props to them for choosing great colors and creating a simple but romantic wedding.
The next wedding was set way in the depths of Pahang. Raub to be exact. The people that were getting married are related to my step dad. It was held in a hall so there was air condition. We were there for like 30 minutes and then we all head of to my auntie's house. We drove all the way there just to eat and leave. The color for the wedding was gold. How ironic.
School is starting. I don't know if I'm happy or miserable. I guess going back to school wakes me up from the relaxing world I have been tanning at. Goodbye TV, hello revision books. I heard that summer splash was a total disappointment. I was grinning when I heard the bad news. I guess I have cursed the Summer Splash. Oops! Not!
The new chapter of Love, Lies and Legacy 2 is out!
