Come & Rest Your Bones With Me

Made a wrong turn, once or twice Dug my way out, blood and fire Bad decisions, that's alright Welcome to my silly life  So the week was spent enduring a bad throat sore . MCs, antibiotics and anti-inflammatory lozenges could not help my body out this week. I still feel miserable and I have a camping trip tomorrow. Awesome right? If I could skip it, I would. But it gives a hefty sum for my extra curricular activities. So attendance is a definite must. At least my broadcasting bitches would be there so maybe it won't be that bad. Fingers crossed. You know what? I think university life goes by kinda speedily. I mean, it felt like yesterday i was packing to move to Shah Alam and it's already the 4th week. Chinese new year break is starting and my first test for journalism is in 2 weeks. Time flies like a bullet from where I'm sitting. Oh, and I just found out that Maroon 5 is coming to Malaysia at the end of April. Like hell yeah!!! Who cares about Bieber or Swi...

Stuff

Sick and tired of this world There's no more air Trippin' over myself Goin' nowhere So since Thursday morning's class was canceled , I bounced back to KL faster than you can say "Buhbye bitches" . I had a bunch of stuff to buy which I haven't took the time to buy when I was at Shah Alam. So my sister and I went to the busy streets of Masjid India. We found my plain black tudung that I have to wear every week to Kawad practice. Then I went crazy at Mydin, buying pegs, hooks, wall clocks and shit like that. Never underestimate the immensity of Mydin. Plus the prices are ridiculous. Next time nak borong shampoo, I pegy sana je la. Wanna hear a funny story? Yesterday after getting back from class and taking off my favorite black pants, I discovered 3 holes near the back pocket. I was shocked and appalled. Not to mention devastated cause those are my only black pants that I have. My roommates laughed cause I don't seem to care of the fact that I ...

Campus Atmosphere

Do you understand who I am Do you wanna know Can you really see through me now So it's been 2 and half weeks since I breathed the atmosphere of UiTM Shah Alam . My classes are not as compact like my Matrix days. Thank God for that. But the tedious part is the fact that each class is about 3 hours long. Even with a bag stocked with knick knacks, I still feel sleepy towards the end.  In the midst of assignments and adapting to the class schedule, there are those odd ronggeng nights. Seriously, don't expect me to stay coop up in my room, pre-reading shit that I haven't learn all the time. I'm out during certain week nights and I'm definitely gone during the weekends. The ronggeng sessions here are interesting, especially when you're doing it with a new bunch of people. Last Monday, I had a crazy night out with my block neighbors and their guy friends. They drove us all the way to Uptown Damansara for supper. I got introduced to an interesting bunch of ...

O Eleven

I was so lost back then But with a little help from my friends I found a light in the tunnel at the end It's a little over New Year but I'm still writing anyway the bits of how I spent it. It started with ditching orientation early by leaving after Friday prayers. After some rest, it was the usual Starbucks at KLCC with Elle and my sister.  Now we apparently have the habit of buying pretzels with our coffee. That night, we crashed Elle's family new year party. We met the whole gang, ate fried chicken and stuffed homemade meringues down our throats while watching the sky being lit up with colours. After enduring the hectic traffic in KL, we finally met up with Nurul and the gang. The rest of the night was spent swaying to hypnotic music . It was crowded and hot and everyone around acted like they had ADD. I think the whole New Year spirit surges in too fast. All and all, it was a fun night. Not the best I've experience but still a nice one indeed. Thank you gu...

The New Education

Cause you're a pretty little windstorm out on the boulevard Something like a Sunset, oh you're a shooting star So the past week was spent enduring mundane speeches about rules and academics in a hall that is as cold as the north pole. I never been to the north pole, but I heard the temperature is super frigid there ;) It was also spent trying to make new acquaintances without letting the PMS take over my personality. I'm almost 20 and yet during the orientation, I spent most of the time clapping solemnly to songs that are just plain childish. Now who came up with the idea of singing very juvenile malay songs during group sessions? You know, songs about jumping snail, frogs, monkeys and green grasses. If I have to sing that song which ends with the tag line RUMPUT YANG HIJAU one more time, I'm gonna bitch slap somebody. Seriously. Free Hair :) But in the midst of all the tiring chaos and kerek facilitators, there was some light in the form of new friends . ...
