Kakom: Making A Scene The KL Way

My experience at Karnival Kokurikulum was the shit So one of the most hilarious yet fun experience during Kakom was during the closing ceremony on Tuesday night. The Melaka contingent sat next to the Penang contingent which meant Deqla and I had easy access to Mira. We found her and I decided to trade jackets. So I proudly wore the grey Penang jacket while she wore my red Melaka jacket . When they annouced that Penang was one of the winners for the kebudayaan competition, Mira literally got up and cheered her ass off in my Melaka jacket. Deqla and I immediately pushed her down to her seat while I sat up and cheered on her behalf cause I was wearing her jacket. Later during the traditional performance by the Matrix Perlis, Deqla, Mira and I decided to spice things up at the back of the hall by creating our very own dance arena . You know KL girls, always trying to make a scene. It was odd cause we were all gyrating to zapin beats . Then Haziq (KL guy who goes to the same matrix as M...

Borderline Friendship

Shot a pointer straight to my heart that broke the Plexiglas backboard and shook my whole court It was weird to me at first that I could have a great friendship with a very religious guy. We sort of shared many similar things and that made me push aside the fact that we come from totally different worlds. His is full of boundaries where he proudly stays on his side of field where I'm a rebel and I love to crossover the boundaries. Now after a great 6 day friendship, he draws the line. He creates a new boundary in our friendship and strengthens it with religion. I get it, he need to take care of his squeaky clean image and sitting around with me in college would spark unwanted rumors. But the burning question is why? Why open up to me in the first place when he knew that when we go back to college, he has to revert back to his religious in front me? Why give me the glimpse of the interesting side when he would not be able to show it to me when we get back? If all he could do when...

Here We Go Again

12 hours in a very hot bus So today was our departure date to Perlis. We left campus at 9.00am. Since I came late to the bus, all the good seats at the back were taken. So i got stuck in the middle sitting next to the one and only Teddy. The deal with me and Teddy is that I hate and love him at same time. It's funny yet so annoying.  But thankfully, Theo and Q were sitting next to me. Theo has a very nice face to look at so I could tear away from watching Teddy's exasperated arrogant face . To briefly describe Theo; he's a skema looking guy with great biceps (thanks to his aggresiveness in the basketball court) and wonderful looking eyes. To sum it up, he's handsome la. But I didn't know him when I first got on the bus so I didn't make a move.  After stopping for brunch, we hop back into the bus and Theo asked me something in French. then Q asked me something in Japanese and then German. I couldn't understand a damn word they were saying but they finally...

Team Spirit!

I'm aching! I need salon pas or yoko-yoko! So kursus atlit KAKOM was not completely awful. It was damn tiring though. 7.30am-12.00am on saturday. 7.30am- 2.00pm on sunday. The whole training session was to bring all the athletes together and instill team spirit in all of us. We learn cheers and claps so during the tournament, we can scream our asses off. It was fun, I made many new friends.  On Sunday, we went to Tanjung Bidara for the Londang X-Games. We were put into groups and we did various activities. My team came out as champions and we got hampers full of unhealthy shit. We sat in the sand and ate our lunch together. Others dove into the sea. I didn't bring extra clothes and skinny dipping in Melaka doesn't sound so nice. After coming back from Tanjung Bidara, I went to see my teammates have a friendly match with the kids from Matrix Johor. Since public speaking didn't have a friendly match, I watched Teddy play basketball, I watch Z play tennis and I watched ...

Table Full of Boys

Happy Birthday to my favourite tennis player. Apparently every Saturday is his birthday. You could imagine how old he is now :) So I don't need to repeat the hectic week that I have been through with UPS around the corner and KAKOM just a few weeks away. Plus I'm also participating in the english drama. I'm not going back this weekend due to the " Kursus Atlit KAKOM "  tomorrow. Damn la! My plans to watch Transformers and go shopping went down the drain faster that you can say Optimus Prime . I really truly believe that I'm going to be the last person on earth who hasn't watch the most anticipated movie of the year. Fuck la.... Not only that, I have to give my full speech tomorrow in front of all the athletes and the director of KMM. Matai sial! I just got the speech 2 days ago. How the hell am I suppose to memorize a 10 minute speech by tomorrow morning? So right now, I'm realeasing my anger by hanging out with D. His instantly gives me a dose of happ...
