For The Kids

I need somewhere simple where we could live, And something that only you can give, And that's faith and trust and peace while we're alive. So this issue has been trending everywhere on FB and even on Twitter. The video was posted on walls and hashtags of #stopkony and #Kony2012 were the talk of the town. I took the time during my lazy evening after french class to take a look at the video and affected by it in the most  indescribable way .  Its basically about the violent dastardly things this dude name Joseph Kony has done to the children in Uganda and what the organization of Invisible Children have been doing to stop his crazy schemes. The dude abducts kids and turns them into child soldier, sex slaves and even mutilates their faces. He's been doing it for 26 years, gallivanting around Africa causing pain and suffering. Last year after the people voiced their concern through different mediums for the past 9 years, President Obama granted a d...

Take It Slow

I don't know what this is Cause you got me good Just like you knew you would So as much as I love xaxau music that makes my heart beat faster and hips move sexier, there are times when I love chilling to acoustic songs. Not many artists can sing live and sound amazing. My favorite artists are Jessie J and   Adele who sound phenomenal live. I did post a video on FB lately where Jessie J sang We Found Love live. Still one of the best covers I heard all year. I love watching this little show called The Voice. I have an addiction to it. Yes Adam Levine is super delicious but the talent that are broadcast are really good. One of the contestants that I love is this chick called Mathai. She sang a cool rendition of Adele's Rumor Has It. I searched for more material from her and this video came up. It's a cover of a John Legend song. She kinda sounds like Corrine Bailey Rae but in a more youthful way. Go check it out. Indulging in the beats of : Mercy by Du...

Judgement Between The Lines

There's nothing like love to pull you up When you're lying down on the floor, babe So this is gonna be a post seeded from anger and disappointment towards certain people. I've been judged many things in my life and I learned to brush them off because people say what they wanna say . But today I was judged for the first time for a new reason . Just because it was not said in a straight forward manner, does not mean I cannot read between the lines. I have learned that sometimes judgement comes from the way it is spoken instead of what is it spoken. Yes I do go out a lot with my friends, partying, hanging out, have a few laughs. But that does not mean that I don't take my studies seriously. It does not mean that I live my life without direction or ambition. I don't talk about my studies as much, I don't go prancing around showing off my GPA and I don't repeatedly nag about how tiresome my assignments are. Technically that's just how I roll. Wh...
