Flo-Rida songs were the hottest shit of the night. Everybody were throwing their hands in the ayer ayer and everybody was getting low low low low. I started getting funky on the dance floor when Nicole Scherzinger's whatever you like started to pumped through the speaker. Seriously Joey G is so hot and so talented! His beats made every poise graceful girl in the hall take off their heels and grind with their boyfriends.
When I first arrived, there was no excited atmosphere but I was ecstatic when Marzy came. Our table was at the back which pissed me off some more. The food was good. I even had the audacity to ask for more rice (well Hana asked it for me)
I started getting in the mood when the Victorian Drumline did a performance. Nurul pulled me to the dance floor and the drummer did a remix with a Flo-Rida song and I let everything go. Since I had the SLR camera with me, I became the prom's unofficial photographer. I stood in front of the stage and took pictures of the performers. I was literally dancing with a camera in my hand for 4 hours.
I started taking pictures of almost all the couples there. Even if I didn't know them, I would still take their picture. Then people were like "Where's the girl with the rockstar hair, we need a picture here" So they would politely tap me on the shoulder and ask to take pictures of them with their friends. For some reason, I did not mind.
During the slow dance, I asked a random Victorian to dance with me. He was so sweet about it. Plus he's so tall, I had a back ache dancing with him. We slow danced for 3 songs and talked at the same time. It was so cool.
Then Bunkface performed! OMG the lead singer is so hot. I literally pushed passed everyone to get in front of the stage. I took some awesome pictures of him. Everyone went crazy when the sang a rock version of the song fall for you.I was with Nish that time, she apparently did not know about Bunkface. But we did have fun banging our head to their music.
Naili was voted prom queen, zarith was voted best dressed and syira and her boyfriend were voted best couple.
From 11.00 pm onwards, Joey G kept spinning and all of us continued to dance until the wee hours of the night. I danced like I never danced before. There were some victorians that danced with us. They were so cool and so hot. There was also a hakka performance by the Victorians. It was so sexy!
Around 1.00am, I danced and got to know this guys who is a Melawatian. We talked outside (due to the loud music inside). I met his other Melawati friends. But my night was cut short when my dad kept calling me over and over again. Can u believe he was already at the lobby at 12.15am. I told him prom ended at 1! Parents!
Even though I did not get to sleepover with Mira and Nish, I still had a great time! Prom was the shit ya'll! I wish all of you were there! I danced with some great guys, I made peace with my enemies, I hanged out with my old friends and I looked great with my rockstar hair.
Prom will definitely be a night I will never forget.
