Prom Jitters & Problems

I hope everything goes on smoothly

So prom is tonight. I'm excited but I just everything to go on as planned. We're suppose to go to my mum's make-up artist's house at 4.00 pm. But I doubt he can finish doing hair and make up for Nurul and I in 2 hours. Plus if we miraculously finish at 6, how the hell are we suppose to arrive at Crown Plaza on time during the rush hour of KL?

I'm freaking out!

Plus I have hotel issues with Mira. The reservations are with her which includes a voucher and deposit. She's coming in late because she's doing her hair at Bangsar. I want to check in first and store my dress and shit in the hotel first. You know, get settled first. But how am i suppose to go there when the voucher is with Mira when she's not arriving till around 5?

I'm freaking out!

Plus I'm going home straight after prom thanks to my over strict grandparents and father. My mum was so cool with me staying over the hotel and hosting an after party. Then my dad had to ruin everything! I so wanna hang out with my friends after the prom. Get a cup of coffee at the BB area in prom dress. That would great!

Plus I begged my mum to bring the SLR camera so my sister can document the whole prom process. She was so happy when I told her she could tag along. Plus when I ask her to take the pictures, she was psyched. I hope my mum brings the SLR camera and the digital camera. I wanna remember this day for a very long time.

Plus I found these gorgeous black stone chandelier earrings. The design is sort of victorian goth but with an elegant twist. I wanted to buy them yesterday but I didn't have any money. Apparently all my money is with my mum. So maybe I can get the money from her and make a quick stop at Pavie to buy them. I know the theme is black ties and DIAMONDS but i have a feeling so many people are going to wear diamonds. I don't want to fit in with the crowd so I'm wearing black stones instead.

Thank god Nurul has the greatest older sister in the world with her own car. The past 2 times I went out with her, she picked me up from home. I wished I had an older sister like Qim. She's so nice and so cute. Plus yesterday, I met Qim's boyfriend who talks with a british accent. Bak kata my sister

I can't wait to go watch the play at KLPac where the boyfriend will be performing. If you guys want to watch it with me, just give me a call. The play is A Christmas Carol and the tickets are only 20 bucks. I maybe going this thursday or wednesday.

Anyway wish me luck! If the prom is lame, I'm gonna stab that whore (organizer) with my 3 inch heel and storm out the hall. Sorry I can't host the after party!

School is over! Whats the problem? I got news from my sister that our prom which was held last year was discovered by the school authorities. Our principle announced it during assembly. She said that if we were to plan a party, we should do it together with the school. Then she said that the last school she became principle at, they had their prom with the school's help. It was an all girls school and they had the prom without any boys. Where's the fun in that? Boring gila sial! Plus all of us has finished school, we're not bounded to them anymore. Breezy Island Getaway

At first I assumed that our trip to Penang would be simple. Honestly, I wasn't even looking forward to it but in the end I did enjoy myself. I thought we were staying in the city but it turned out we stayed at Batu Ferringhi which is near the beach. I didn't get to swim cause I didn't bring a swimsuit. I haven't been to Penang for years now and when I was there, I feel like I want to retire there. The atmosphere there is awesome. Its so laid back and carefree. I can see myself in a floral summer dress with my sunglasses and flip flops, wandering around the beach every morning. The night flea market there was so much fun. I wanted to buy this turqoise bracelet which is similar to the one Bella wore in twilight but it was too damn expensive. Sheesh.... When we were there, I thought I could leave all my KL problems for a while and just relax. Then my dad called and ruined everything. It seems like since SPM ended, he is always bringing me bad news. Simple to Sour ( A Fucked Up Birthday)

My grandparents screw up everything! They are toxic! FYI- I am currently crying and I'm too mad to hold back any tears. I don't care, all i wanna do is get this out. I'll call Nurul or Jasmin or Mia after this to let out my feelings. I don't expect anything extravagant from my grandparents. They are old and don't believe in celebrating birthdays. To them, it's just another normal day.  I was surprised when I came home to see my maid cooking my favorite kuih gulung and she said that my grandfather is at Nikko Hatel buying my birthday cake. So before dinner, my grandmother confronted me and asked me why didn't I tell her about my party this weekend.
