I love the way you see all the way to my heart,
Pass the haze and the false bliss,
To see my stripped down soul,
And still say you love me,
I love the way you see from near to far,
About everything we stand for,
But mostly I love you for being you,
For being just the way you are.
Pass the haze and the false bliss,
To see my stripped down soul,
And still say you love me,
I love the way you see from near to far,
About everything we stand for,
But mostly I love you for being you,
For being just the way you are.
So I found that poem when I was browsing through my little note book that I always bring along during my matrix days. Usually I would write the date and time when i finish writing a poem but this one was blank. And for some strange reason, I can't seem to remember writing it. I know it was during college but nothing else.
But I like it. I like reading love poems even if its written by myself. It sort of makes me believe about true love.
From all the stories, I heard that falling in love and being loved back is a mixture of so many feelings, good and bad. But most people sum it up to be an awesome feeling. I most certainly believe that its an incredible feeling even though I have never felt it myself. I'm tremendously grateful if my writings have even a slither of that awesomeness.

As a writer, I write characters that feel a spectrum of emotions. Emotions that sometimes I have never had the luck to feel. That's where imagination comes. Writers imagine things they have never felt or experience. Our imagination is what bring our words to life.
You know what's funny? I'm actually listening to an Indonesian love song while writing this. I believe they make they make the best and the most heart breaking love songs.
