So I'm not gonna crap about anything negative this evening.
Just wanted to share something funny.
Well it's funny to me la.
Have you ever had a dream, woke up and and instantly remember 80% of the details related to that dream? Well I had one last night and even though I woke up during a crucial moment (damn!), I still thought it was a cool dream. So I'm gonna write it in a novel form so you guys can get the feeling. The setting is in a lecture hall.
The weather was particularly humid that morning as I took big steps of urgency towards the lecture hall. I kept peeking at my wrist watch over over while trying to convince myself that I was going to make it and not get scolded. I completely forgot that today's class was shifted to the lecture hall and not the normal classroom we usually study at. I blame myself for not tagging that as an important memo.
I got to the front door of the hall, took a deep breath and and opened the door. Instead of finding a lecturer in front of the hall, I saw one of my classmates who was holding a stack of papers.
" Hey Shane. You finally made it," she said while gesturing me inside. I looked up at the hall and realized most of them were sitting in pairs, a boy and a girl.
" What's going on? Did I miss something? " I asked while putting my bag down on one of the chairs.
" Yeah, you sort of missed the selection process. Teacher is coming late and he asked us to pair up, boys with girls and read the papers he printed. We're getting married, Shane! Isn't that awesome?" she said with a bright smile on her face.
" Married?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah , the assignment is for us to consider ourselves in a serious relationship. Teacher gave us some situations in those papers and we're suppose to write a report with your spouse as to how would you handle those situations. Cool, right? But all the men present in the hall are taken so which ever male specimen that walks through that door will be your husband," she said with a small sympathetic smile.
"Dude! I thought you were skipping?" hollered one of the boys from the 3rd row before I had a chance to reply my friend's shocking explanation.
I could feel the slight wind blowing behind my back from the opening of the door. I turned around to face a person that embedded the words "Oh shit!" in my head.
To the eyes of other females, he was considered a good catch. With his athletic build, playful smile and rebellious attitude, he could possibly be the James Dean of institution. But through my observant view, he a typical asshole and I truly had enough with their kind. No matter how dashing he looked.
I stared at him through annoying eyes and replied effortlessly with that much praised playful smile. I gazed at him long enough to hear my friend saying the words "Congratulation, you guys are husband and wife."
The first line that slipped through my candor mouth was
"Apakah dosaku until I have to get married to an asshole?"
Then I woke up! Haha!
